Flight training CRI (A)
I hold a private pilot's license with
instrument rating and the
US pilot's license (FAA) also with
IR rating.
As a Class Rating Instructor - CRI (A) - I have an instructor rating for the issuance, extension and renewal of class or type ratings for single pilot (SEP) aircraft.
With my Cirrus SR22 TN G3, I travel a lot in Germany for my business.
As an active member of Flying Hope, I perform charity flights for sick children. And of course I fly regularly to the Atlantik Airpark in France.

We can fly together to different airfields to train how the procedure works on uncontrolled airfields here in France and I can also teach you the French basics to be able to radio and land confidently on small airfields with "French only".
Flight training in France

Flying in France
In my opinion, France is the European aviation paradise and comes quite close to the flying freedoms we know from the USA:
-
no compulsory air traffic control
-
airfields are open 24 hours a day
-
runway lights can be switched on by radio from the air
-
often no landing fees or very moderate prices even at larger airfields
-
Professional and cooperative ATC
-
IFR even in uncontrolled airspace
Of course, there are also national peculiarities and you should never fly to France unprepared.
I will be happy to assist you with your flight preparation to the Atlantic Airpark if required.
Philipp Tiemann has created a helpful webpage (only German) www.fliegen-in-frankreich.de, which I can recommend to every "France flyer".

Revalidation class rating
Provided I'm on site, you're welcome to combine your stay with the 2-year training flight for revalidation of your single pilot class rating.
French only
The most beautiful places often do not have a flight controller and can only be approached with French aeronautical radio. I will train you how to do it and give you practical information for future solo flights.
